Our EXT Compounding Extraction Hoods protect the operator from harmful contaminants while weighing non-sterile powders and compounds.
These hoods are complete with HEPA, Dual HEPA, HEPA/Chemical or Dual Chemical Configurations. Contact VML for assistance on the correct configuration for your application
KEY FEATURES
Operator Protection
The airflow is directed away from the operator, into the hood to be filtered. Each EXT size has been successfully ASHRAE 110 tested with excellent results.
Particulate Filtration
The Compounding model filters the contaminated air through a HEPA filter, rated 99.99% efficient at 0.3 microns.
Independent Operation
Internal fans direct the air without being ducted to the building system and vent the filtered air back into the room.
Corrosion Resistant
Constructed from corrosion-resistant white polypropylene, these hoods are ideal for processes involving corrosive chemicals and are resilient to frequent sanitizing.
